The GRISG research program is structured around five integrated research areas, with innovation, value creation, and performance as guiding principles: 

Corporate governance 

The corporate governance research area explores the role of boards of directors in organizational performance, with a focus on diversity as a driver of innovation. This research highlights the impact of executive profiles on strategy and value creation. 

Strategic intelligence 

The strategic intelligence research area focuses on strategic monitoring practices and the use of disruptive technologies to support innovation and digital transformation. This field emphasizes adaptation to uncertain environments through dynamic capabilities. 

Business models and business strategies 

The business models and market strategies research area examines business model innovation and its alignment with market dynamics in a global and uncertain context. It explores the barriers and drivers of innovation for SMEs and the impact of disruptive technologies on business model transformation. 

Corporate strategies 

The corporate strategies research area analyzes internationalization, diversification, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic alliances for companies operating in complex and uncertain environments. It focuses on dynamic capabilities and executive networks as levers for growth and adaptation. This area also examines the role of executive profiles in developing innovative global strategies, with a particular emphasis on SMEs and multinational corporations. 

University pedagogy research on strategy education 

This research area explores innovative pedagogical methods and practices aimed at enhancing the learning of innovation, strategy, and governance concepts at the graduate level. It seeks to develop and evaluate educational approaches that foster critical thinking, creativity, and the competencies of university students.
